Weighing less than 500 grams, the Archer Field PC™ is compact, ultra-rugged, and meets tough standards for drop, vibration, immersion, humidity, and operating temperatures. Archer's vibrant colour display offers excellent visibility under the harshest lighting conditions. The large, backlit, tactile, tough keys are optimised for field productivity. The intellegent rechargeable Li-ion battery pack operates for more than 20 hours on one charge and recharges in four hours or less. The case is magnesium with an easy-to-grip over-moulding.

The Communications Module provides USB host & client plus 9-pin RS-232 for use with peripheral devices. User accessible, sealed CF and SD card slots let you add a camera, GPS, bar code scanner, Bluetooth® or memory cards. An extended cap accommodates oversized cards. Communicate wirelessly via Bluetooth®, Wi-Fi, and cellular modems.
